Serving Scissett for over 100 years
SCISSETT CLUB IS OVER 100 YEARS OLD WITH FORMAL MEMBERSHIP OF THE CIU DATING FROM 1919. THE LAND WAS PURCHASED FROM THE SAVILLE ESTATES IN 1922. THE BUILDING IS ORIGINAL WITH VARIOUS ADD ON BITS THROUGH THE YEARS.
THE COVID EPIDEMIC HAS BEEN CHALLENGING, BUT WE HAVE COME THROUGH IT OK. WE HAVE HAD A BUSY TIME GETTING BACK UP TO DATE WITH ALL THE HEALTH AND SAFETY CHECKS THAT ARE MANDATORY WITH OUR BUSINESS.
THE CONCERT ROOM IS NOW BACK TO FULL USE WITH REGUAR SATURDAY NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT. THIS FACILITY IS ALSO VITAL FOR OTHER PARTIES WHO USE THIS ROOM INCLUDING SLIMMINGWORLD, SEQUENCE DANCING GROUP, YOGA GROUP AND SCISSETT OPERATIC SOCIETY.
A NEW FEATURE IN THE CONCERT ROOM IS A CINEMA SIZE BIG SCREEN FED BY A 7000 LUMENS PROJECTOR WHICH IS PERFECT FOR OUR FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS.
WE HAVE THREE SKY RECEIVING TELEVISIONS. JUKEBOX MUSIC AVAILABLE IN EVERY ROOM.

FUNDRAISING
Every year we raise money for our chosen charity.
In 2023 we have chosen 3. charities, Kirkwood Hospice, Wakefield Hospice and Forget Me Not. Please help us support this worthwhile causes at our events throughout the year or simply by donating what you can, when you can. You can find out more about the charity by visiting their websites.
ROOM HIRE
Our concert room available for hire Tuesday and Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, call in and complete a booking form. We have stage to accommodate your entertainment choices, full disabled facilities including baby changing.
